We are located about 100 miles West of Austin, 100 miles NW of San Antonio and 100 South of San Angelo. We are an inviting alternative to hotels in Brady, Fredericksburg and Llano and the perfect home base for exploring parts of Texas. We offer several day trips to sourrounding towns, forts, museums, Enchanted Rock for hiking, the Eckert Bat Cave, the Tunnel Bat Cave, Geology uplifts, rock hounding, topaz hunting (for the Texas state Gem), shopping, antiquing and much, much more. One stay here and we believe you’ll fall in love with this area.
Driving Directions: (best to follow our directions and not GPS)
FROM MASON SQUARE: From the Courthouse Square, take 87 south. You will almost immediately see Post Oak Street, turn right. The second street you cross will be Kettner, turn left. We are located at the corner of Kettner and Wren Streets. A two-story house, the Guest House is half of the first floor and the residence is on the second.
FROM HOUSTON: Lots of ways to come…so contact me and depending where you are starting from in Houston, I can recommend a comfortable route.
COMING TO MASON: Where ever you start from…soon you will start to see beautiful scenery, wide open skies, deer, and not much traffic. BREATHE. EXHALE. You are heading for the COVERED WAGON GUESTHOUSE.
