The Covered Wagon is a guest house designed combining the rich culture of Texas’ settlers with the modern details that allow you to relax in comfort and style.  The space reflects the sights and traditions of Mason County in the 1860’s. The hallmark of your stay is sleeping in a one of a kind queen size bed, custom made and designed with actual vintage wagon parts.  Luxury bed linens, full kitchen with snacks, electrical fire place, chemical free environment, flat screen TV DVD, movies, CD’s, WiFi and plenty of free parking.  We are located on an acre and a half in a quiet, historical area of town, walking distance to the Square, Fort Mason, shopping, museums, restaurants and a wine bar.  Front porch has recliners for your early morning enjoyment and the back yard has 4 stargazing tubs to relax in while watching for shooting stars.
